Sudan, officially the Republic of the Sudan, is a country in Northeast Africa. It is bordered by Egypt to the north, the Red Sea to the northeast, Eritrea to the east, Ethiopia to the southeast, South Sudan to the south, the Central African Republic to the southwest, Chad to the west, and Libya to the northwest. And It Is Under Attack!

Within the past week:
over 100 killed
over 750 injured
over 600 arrested
over 50 women raped
over 5 men raped also
and over 1000 missing
And the numbers keep rising!

And yet the world is silent. This issue has taken social media by storm, however, that is just a small demographic of people who have decided to take it amongst themselves to raise awareness for this issue. World powers who could have a greater influence than just us, have decided to take a step back. Critics have accused the White House of inaction as Sudan destabilises. This relates back to the Darfur genocide and further African Political Movements that have once been dismissed, and marginalised whilst the vulnerable people of that country are forced to take care this all by themselves.

There is such a lack of care for these countries that need clearly need intervention and aid from powers that could make their lives easier and freer and safer. Nevertheless, we as a people can always use our own platforms to help this revolution and path to a safer world.
